Ultra Air Blaster V2: Pistol-Grip Power for Full-Interior Detailing

The Ultra Air Blaster V2 is the full-size pistol-grip version of our Ultra Air system, engineered for professional detailers who work on cars all day. The larger handle and pistol-grip ergonomics make sustained cleaning sessions easier on your hand, while the higher airflow output of 120 to 200 L/min lifts deeper-embedded debris than compact tools can reach. Two interchangeable trumpets give you the flexibility to switch between smooth airflow dispersal and bristle-cone scrubbing without changing tools.

Where the compact Ultra Air Blaster Mini excels at vents, console gaps and quick precision work, the V2 is built for full-carpet agitation, complete upholstery cleaning and the kind of long detailing sessions where ergonomics matter as much as raw power. Many professional detailers run both: Mini for tight spots, V2 for full-interior work.

Why Detailers Trust the Ultra Air Blaster V2

  • Higher airflow output: 120 to 200 L/min at 6 to 8 bar input pressure. The variable airflow lets you tune intensity from delicate (leather, Alcantara) to aggressive (deep carpet agitation).
  • Two interchangeable trumpets: the Standard Trumpet disperses smooth even air pressure for general cleaning. The Bristle Cone Trumpet adds physical scrubbing power for stubborn debris in carpet and upholstery fibers.
  • Pistol-grip ergonomics: the larger body and pistol grip distribute weight comfortably for extended use, reducing hand fatigue during long detail sessions.
  • Vortex-powered airflow: like the Mini, the V2 generates a spinning vortex that lifts contaminants up and out of fibers rather than pushing them deeper. Significantly more effective than a straight blow gun for pre-vacuum cleaning.
  • All-metal construction: built entirely from robust metal components. Easy disassembly and reassembly without cracking, designed for daily professional use.
  • Free rotation speed: 8,000 to 12,000 RPM internal turbine generates the vortex effect that defines the Ultra Air line.

How to Use the Ultra Air Blaster V2

  1. Choose your trumpet. Standard for smooth airflow dispersal across carpets, seats and dashboard. Bristle Cone for scrubbing stubborn debris from deep carpet fibers or heavily soiled upholstery.
  2. Connect to your air compressor. The V2 requires 120 to 200 L/min airflow at 6 to 8 bar input pressure. A 115-liter or larger compressor tank ensures uninterrupted performance during full-interior sessions.
  3. Pre-blast carpets before vacuuming. Hold the trumpet 5 to 10 cm from the surface and work systematically across one section at a time. The vortex action lifts hidden debris (sand, dust, food crumbs, dog hair) to the surface where your vacuum can collect it.
  4. Spray cleaner first for deep-fiber cleaning. Apply Carpet Bomber or Terminator Spot & Stain Remover to the area, then use the V2 with Bristle Cone trumpet to agitate the cleaner deep into the fibers. Extract with microfiber towel or wet-vac.
  5. Tight-space cleaning. Direct airflow into seat rails, door pockets, sunroof tracks, vent grilles, and around buttons and switches. The pistol grip gives precise aim in awkward angles.
  6. Buffing pad maintenance. Keep the V2 nearby during polishing. A quick blast on the back of the pad clears spent compound, extending pad life and maintaining cutting performance.

Pro tip: for the most effective interior deep-clean, combine V2 with chemicals. Spray cleaner, agitate with Bristle Cone, blow with Standard Trumpet, then vacuum. This "spray-agitate-blow-vacuum" workflow is what Tornador-style tools were designed for.

Important: after each session, run the tool briefly to clear internal condensation and store nozzle-down to protect the bearings. The V2 uses the same replaceable press-fit bearing system as the Mini, ensuring long service life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size air compressor do I need for the Ultra Air Blaster V2?
The V2 consumes 120 to 200 L/min depending on input pressure. For sustained use at maximum output, we recommend a 115-liter compressor tank that delivers consistent airflow at 6 to 8 bar. A 75-liter tank can power the V2 but will need recovery time between bursts.

How does the Ultra Air Blaster V2 compare to a Tornador?
Both tools use compressed air to lift contamination from interior surfaces. The V2 focuses on pure high-velocity vortex airflow at a more accessible price point. The V2 does not have an integrated chemical reservoir like Tornador Classic, which makes it lighter, easier to maintain, and gives you full control over which cleaners you spray separately. For detailers who already use Carpet Bomber, Terminator or Xpress Interior Cleaner, the V2 provides equivalent agitation power without locking you into a specific chemistry system.

What is the difference between the V2 and the Ultra Air Blaster Mini?
The Mini delivers 113 L/min in a compact body designed for precision work in vents, console gaps and tight detail-zones. The V2 delivers 120 to 200 L/min in a pistol-grip body designed for full-interior detailing sessions: carpets, upholstery, headliners and large surface areas. The V2 also includes two interchangeable trumpets (Standard and Bristle Cone) while the Mini comes with one. Many professional detailers keep both in their kit: Mini for detail-work, V2 for full-interior cleaning.

What is the Bristle Cone Trumpet used for?
The Bristle Cone Trumpet combines vortex airflow with physical scrubbing bristles. It is the right tool for agitating cleaning chemicals into deep carpet fibers, breaking up stubborn dirt in upholstery weave, and dislodging contamination that pure airflow alone cannot reach. Use it together with Carpet Bomber or Terminator Enzyme Spot & Stain Remover for deep-fiber cleaning.

Does the V2 come with an EU adapter for the air connection?
The V2 uses a US standard 1/4" NPT connection. Most European air compressor hoses use the same fitting or are compatible with a simple quick-coupler adapter (widely available in any hardware store for a few euros). If you already run a Mini or other Ultra Air tool, no additional adapter is needed.

Is the V2 safe on leather and Alcantara?
Yes. The trigger gives precise control over airflow intensity. For delicate surfaces, use short controlled bursts with the Standard Trumpet (not the Bristle Cone) and keep the trumpet at least 10 cm from the surface. The vortex airflow lifts dust and crumbs without abrading the material.

What is the warranty on the V2?
90-day limited warranty covering materials and workmanship. The press-fit bearing system is designed for serviceability: when bearings eventually wear from heavy daily use, they can be replaced individually, giving the V2 a practical service life of multiple years under professional use.
